The Yarra Roughies Masters Swimming Club is a Masters Swimming Club based at the Fitzroy Swimming Pool. We are an incorporated club and a member of AUSSI, the national body which overseas Masters swimming in Australia. Our aim is to provide a safe and managed environment to encourage adults, regardless of age or ability, to swim regularly in order to promote fitness and improve their general health. We currently have approximately 40 members who enjoy training, competing and a variety of social activities throughout the year. If you like the idea of fitness or competitive swimming, then Masters swimming may be for you. Our members span all ages and all abilities. .  AUSSI AUSSI is the Australian Union of Senior Swimmers International and is an association of Masters Swimming Clubs in Australia. AUSSI has a national membership of 6500 swimmers. In Victoria there are over 35 clubs with more than 800 swimmers. The aim of AUSSI is swimming for friendship, fitness, fun and competition. |
